Fees and Bursaries
For the 2016/2017 Academic Year the fees per term are as follows:

Fees include the costs of all compulsory curriculum residential trips. These are significant in number and include: Year 4 overnight trip to York and Leeds Armoury, Year 5 ‘Father and Son Bushcraft’ weekend, Year 6 trip to WW1 Battlefields in Belgium, Year 7 trip to Normandy, Year 8 Science & Geography fieldwork trip to the Isle of Wight and a Year 8 leavers’ watersports week on the south coast.
The School operates the 15 hours per week Free Early Education Scheme through Surrey County Council for those pupils below statutory school age.
A 5% discount on fees is given for second and subsequent siblings during the period that more than one child attends the School.
Fees are payable termly in advance unless a written agreement for payment by instalments has been obtained.
A £80 non-refundable fee is payable on registration.
Parents who are EU citizens and non-EU citizens resident in the UK will pay a deposit of £500 on acceptance of a place; this is refunded when a pupil leaves St John’s. All other parents will pay a refundable deposit of one term’s fees on acceptance of a place.
Additional tuition for those pupils identified as requiring further support in the Campion Centre are charged at £30 per lesson.
Tuition in English as a foreign language at £26 for an individual lesson.
After-school care (Nursery to Year 3 only) to 6.00 p.m. between £9.00 and £13.00 per session.
The School offers a generous bursary scheme to support boys and their families who would contribute strongly to and benefit from the education provided at St John’s and who could otherwise not afford the fees. All applications are assessed on a means tested basis.
Early applications for such awards are strongly advised.
