Jesuit Education
St John’s Beaumont is a Jesuit school. The network of Jesuit schools and universities, founded for ‘improvement in living and learning for the greater glory of God and the common good’ (St Ignatius), reaches around the globe on six continents and spans a period exceeding 450 years.
There are 11 Jesuit schools in the UK, 169 in Europe, and 2,362 worldwide educating 2.4 million young people. Jesuit schools are part of the Catholic provision of education.
Through active links with Jesuit schools and institutions around the world, we encourage our pupils to have outward-looking perspectives. Recent collaborations with other Jesuit institutions have included our pupils travelling to Stonyhurst College for the IGNITE conference and joining research project with Georgetown University in the USA.

RELIGIOUS FORMATION
Religious formation is an important part of the Jesuit education at St John’s, giving pupils the opportunity to encounter God in prayer, reflection and worship, study, and in the service of others.
