Join us for a night of masks, fizz, food, wine, casino, dancing and a lot of fun! Enjoy with the school community while raising funds for St Mary’s Children’s Fund and The Windsor Homeless Project!

FAQ

Here is some helpful information for you to make the most out of the night. Please don’t hesitate to get in contact if you have any questions:

Timings and Venue Address

The Castle Hotel, 18 High Street, Windsor, England, SL4 1ER. Pre-dinner drinks and entertainment will be served at the Georgian Suite from 7pm. We will sit down for dinner in the Windsor Suite (the largest in town!) at 8:00pm. Carriages at 1:00am.

Parking is available at £20.00 for up to 8 hours, payable to The Castle Hotel. Please note, the car park operates on a first-come, first-serve basis.

What to Wear

Black tie or ball gown/cocktail dress.

You are invited to wear a mask to the Ball to make it extra special. A glamorous lace mask will be given out on the day and is included in the ticket price, but feel free to bring along one of your own if you prefer.

Casino

There will be casino tables for you to enjoy during the pre-drinks and, if dancing is not your thing, also after the dinner and auction. Try your luck at the Roulette, Blackjack or Texas Hold´em Poker and win one of the three fabulous prizes for the best three players!

Online Ball Charity Auction

You will have the chance to bid to win fabulous auction items, you will be amazed by the huge range of them. Do your Christmas shopping and raise money for good causes all at the same time.

The Hampers Raffle

We will know the name of the lucky winners of the fabulous Christmas Hampers during the Ball. The raffle draw will take place on 2.12.22 at 9pm at the Charity Ball.

Dancing

There will be dancing after the dinner and auction – if you have a dance floor request for the DJ, please send it over to fsjb@sjb.email and we’ll make sure it is added to the DJ playlist.

What to Bring on the Evening

Laughter and credit card/cash to support our school charity fundraising for St Mary’s Children’s Fund (part of Imperial Health Charity) and The Windsor Homeless Project.

The evening is going to be amazing and we hope you can join us!

Auction prizes

We are working hard to put together a large range of extraordinary auction prizes and we would like to get all the community involved to make the night extra special. Are you the lucky owner of a beautiful holiday home that you could spare for some days? Would you mind sharing your flamboyant car for a day? Or simply get creative and think of how to put your talents to work for the community! Remember every penny we raise will directly go to our chosen charities.

Here are only a few examples of auction prizes that could raise lots of interest with your fellow parents:

  • A shadow working experience for one of the boys.
  • Our school community is very talented. Share your passion and knowledge in a masterclass where you can share one of your talents (photography, cycling, guitar, a foreign language, make-up, cake decoration, gardening, calligraphy, scrapbooking, 3D printing, knitting…)
  • A cooking class. Teach how to cook a proper Sunday roast, curry, crispy roles, sushi, a Spanish tortilla, the best BBQ…
  • Tickets to the theatre, sports matches, concerts, music festivals, Wimbledon, Glyndebourne, Royal Ascot… that you can no longer make.
  • Day invitation to your country club.
  • VIP pass to a venue.
  • Do you happen to know a celebrity? Get them to donate something to make someone in our school community happy while raising funds for our charities!
